A Skullful Of Happy

Yes, we're marching into town And our uniforms are shiny We're gonna cave in Every head that isn't smiling Get a skullful of happy A skullful of happy Happy happy happy Happy happy happy

The years that suffocate the Attempts to illustrate The pictures that resonate my bones The tiny marks are scattered Laboriously gathered Into an integrated whole It doesn’t mean a thing at all A pellet tossed into the hole And lo, on and on it goes And lo, on and on it goes Internal excavations And spectral masturbations Forbidden notions gathered home These luminescent vapors Converted into paper A mound of printed matter, all It doesn’t mean a thing at all A pellet tossed into the hole And lo, on and on it goes And lo, on and on it goes

In the grey cold whispering Sings the age-old history Shining bright and shimmering Comforting the whimpering Naked, cold and shivering Vulnerable and snivelling Infant hands still fumbling Stands the mindless child-king Still, he shouts his first command Come to claim this common land “This is now the Promised Land. Reconstitute these barren clans” We shall flourish and survive Come, replenish our supplies With our growing energies We shall crush the enemy In the grey cold whispering And our aimless loitering Empty smiles withering A tiny mind starts flickering Dusty lips are quivering And sightless eyes start listening A voiceless mouth is mumbling The Giant Eye starts glowering Amidst the endless bickering Offended by the simpering A knuckled fist starts tightening And fragile skulls start splintering We will rewrite history Anesthetize the memory Notify all entities And nullify the entropy And through the ceaseless struggling And ouroboric plundering The holocaust starts quickening And yet the horde is lingering It’s a complete catastrophe Just ask the man-in-the-street Maintain our feigned neutrality And undisturbed tranquility We hear the distant thundering The echoes of the clamoring And bloody hands are slaughtering Still not disturbs our slumbering We will keep our liberties Safe between parenthesis Close the blinds and back to sleep Eulogize our deities

Now comes the dreaded season They home in like a beacon They loiter with no reason And there's no sign they'll go away They empty out my pantries They shriek their loudest shanties They suckle like sea lampreys And they will never go away And it appears they're here to stay They linger on day after day It's just another holiday The cherished heirloom pieces Are being smeared with feces The dead-eyed stony faces Betray no plans to go away And all the family pictures They're smashing with their hammers The antiquated fixtures Are swiftly being hauled away And it appears they're here to stay Crushing all signs to keep away It's just another holiday The smell of boiling urine Engulfs the habitation The sordid dissipations Continue through the break of day They cry "La dolce vita!" And set the pets on fire They form a tuneless choir And chant they'll never go away Yes, be resigned they're here to stay They linger on day after day It's just another holiday

I teach me a brain It sits in front the telly I teach me a brain And it keeps me comperny I teach me a brain I teach me a brain I teach me a brain I teach me a brain I teach me a brain And it learns so many things I teach me a brain And it makes me so happy I teach me a brain I teach me a brain I teach me a brain I teach me a brain
